CalcGate is a focus and self-control app that helps users intentionally restrict access to selected apps by requiring either a math challenge or the completion of a lock period before access is restored.
The App uses Apple Screen Time technologies, including the FamilyControls framework, to allow users to select apps or app categories to restrict on their own device.

All settings, lock data, and related app state are stored locally on the user’s device using standard iOS storage mechanisms, including App Group shared storage where required for Screen Time functionality.

CalcGate requests permission to use Apple’s Screen Time APIs, including the FamilyControls framework, in order to allow users to select apps or app categories to restrict.
These permissions are used only for the App’s intended restriction and focus-support functionality.
